06 · Delivery capacity
More capacity, the same delivery standard.
System Intelligence (SI) takes the repeated tasks, so extra people stay on the work that needs them. The spike has a clear role and a clean exit.

- 01Extra hands on the live programme
- 02One delivery lead
- 03A clean exit when the spike ends
The gap
A programme that stalls because the team is full.
Catalogue cleanup, content production, QA, or implementation spikes land on the same few people. Quality slips, or the roadmap waits. Adding unnamed help, with no shared standard, creates a second project to manage.
Delivery capacity adds people inside the programme we already lead. They work to the same acceptance bar, with a named lead, a defined role, and an end when the spike is over.
Outcomes
What changes when this is in place.
- 01
Capacity on the live work
Operational or technical help joins the programme that is already in Assess, Build, or Run.
- 02
One standard
The added people work under NuvonHub delivery: the same documentation, review, and acceptance criteria.
- 03
A role you can see
Scope, reporting, and the delivery lead are written down. You still have one accountable team.
- 04
An ending
When the spike passes, capacity scales down cleanly. You are not left with permanent headcount you did not ask for.
Capabilities
What the work covers.
This is additional capacity inside our delivery model. It supports the other services when the work is clear and the core team is the constraint.
- 01
Operational throughput
Catalogue care, content production, QA passes, and structured admin that a programme needs in volume.
- 02
Technical implementation support
Extra engineering hands on a scoped build, working to the lead’s plan and the acceptance tests.
- 03
Onboarding into context
People join with the programme map, the tools, and the definition of done already in place.
- 04
Reporting
A simple rhythm of what shipped, what is blocked, and what needs a decision from you.
- 05
Scale-down
A planned exit so knowledge stays in the documentation and with the core team.
In the programme
Assess, build, then stay.
01
Assess
Separate a capacity problem from a systems problem. If the bottleneck is a missing workflow or integration, we fix that first.
02
Build
Added people join the live programme under our delivery lead, against the same milestones and acceptance criteria.
03
Run
Capacity stays only while Run needs it, then scales down with the work handed back into the core team and the docs.
What’s included
The delivery, in writing.
- A written reason capacity is the constraint
- Named roles inside the current programme
- Onboarding into your tools, context, and definition of done
- Day-to-day management by a NuvonHub delivery lead
- Reporting on throughput, blockers, and decisions
- The same Assess → Build → Run acceptance bar
- A planned exit when the spike ends
Outside this service. Unnamed contractors dropped into the account with no delivery lead and no acceptance bar.
What keeps working
Extra hands that leave the system stronger.
Capacity is successful when the spike is finished and the core team can run what was produced.
Knowledge stays in the programme
Work is documented as it is done. It does not live only in the extra person’s head.
One lead throughout
You keep a single NuvonHub delivery lead. Added capacity reports through that lead.
The spike can end
Duration and exit are part of the plan, so capacity matches the work.
FAQ
Practical questions.
How is this different from hiring onto our team?
It is capacity inside a NuvonHub programme, managed by our delivery lead, for a defined spike. You get throughput against our standard, and an exit when that work is done.
Who manages the day to day?
A NuvonHub delivery lead. You have one accountable team, with reporting on what shipped and what is blocked.
Can capacity include SI or catalogue work?
Yes, when it sits inside Connected SI, websites, or another agreed service. SI work still follows approved content and human review. Catalogue work follows the same acceptance bar as the rest of the programme.
What if the real issue is the system, not the headcount?
Assess says so. We will recommend automation, integration, or care instead of adding people to a broken handoff.
